Girls basketball: Hudson’s Bay 60, Stevenson 55

Freshman Aniyah Hampton started her varsity career with a game-high 25 points and made some key free throws down the stretch as Hudson’s Bay won its season-opener at Stevenson.

Maria Mendez added 13 points with three 3-pointers for the Eagles.

Cassie MacNab led Stevenson with 15 points, and Katie Rathgeber and Ashley Brannan each had 14 points.
