Update, 11 a.m.: James Henson has been located and returned home to his family.

Original story: The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statewide silver alert for a missing endangered person.

Deputies did not release details about the person when they issued the alert around midnight Tuesday. Instead, they asked they public to be on the lookout for a gray 2006 Econoline Van, with Washington plates B52469Y.

In a news release later Tuesday morning, the sheriff’s office identified the missing man as James Henson.

Henson told his daughter he wanted to go camping near Cougar and left around 10:30 a.m. Monday. He departed without his cellphone and can be easily confused or disoriented due to a medical condition, deputies said.

“(Henson) does not have his medications with him,” deputies said. “He may be heading to a casino since he likes to gamble.”

His possible locations include the Cougar area or the Spirit Mountain Casino in Oregon.

Anyone who spots Henson or the van should call 911 immediately.
