Kalama – The Port of Kalama commissioners approved a $30.9 million budget for 2019 on Wednesday, with a $9 million decrease after a year full of projects and maintenance.
Finance Manager Mindy Heuer said, after a “very busy” year in 2018, the port is anticipating a slower year for capital projects. Those projects still take up the majority of the port’s budget, with $22.2 million budgeted for 2019.
