Clark College is looking for English tutors to assist at the Partners in Careers location. Conduct one-on-one or small group conversations, listen to students read aloud, correcting errors, help students with phonics and spelling, and assist when students are working on computers. Morning or afternoon shifts are available Monday through Thursday.

Columbia Springs seeks education volunteers to assist with elementary school field trips. More than 6,000 students visit each year, typically in the mornings, learning about ecology, water quality and macro invertebrates.

Bloodworks Northwest seeks volunteers to help with check in, talk with potential donors about giving blood, monitor donors after they donate during a variety of shifts. Training is provided.

FISH of Vancouver is looking for food pantry helpers to restock shelves, check items for expiration dates, sort and bag food, and bring in donations from trucks. Shifts are 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.

The Clark County Food Bank is looking for volunteers to fold paper bags, 8 a.m. to approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday, at 6502 N.E. 47th Ave., Vancouver, for the Walk and Knock food drive set for Dec 1. Volunteers are also welcome at noon to relieve those who began early.

Columbia Springs seeks volunteers for its next Stewardship Saturday event, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Projects include removing invasive species, trail maintenance and preparing the park for winter. Snacks, tools, gloves and guidance provided. Bring a water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, and dress in work-appropriate clothing. Children from ages 7 to 15 may volunteer with a parent or guardian.
