Nominees for Week 10 fall sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian fall sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Nov. 10. This is the final fall athlete-of-the-week vote of the season.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

ALLI CORRAL, PRAIRIE GIRLS SOCCER: Corral had 20 saves in goal in two state-playoff wins for the Falcons.

HAILEY GROTTE, LA CENTER GIRLS SWIMMING: Grotte had runner-up finishes in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle at the 2A-1A state meeting.

DELANEY NICOLL, RIDGEFIELD VOLLEYBALL: Nicoll averaged 25 kills and 17 digs in helping the Spudders win the 2A state championship.

JULIA SKIMAS, COLUMBIA RIVER GIRLS SOCCER: The senior anchored the defensive backline for River, which recorded its fifth straight playoff shutout.

KATIE VROMAN, PRAIRIE VOLLEYBALL: Vroman averaged 20 kills and 16.5 digs in two matches at the 3A bi-district tournament.
