King’s Way Christian, La Center eliminated at 1A volleyball

La Center and King’s Way Christian were both eliminated from the 1A state tournament in Yakima on Friday.

King’s Way Christian opened with a 3-1 loss to Granger (23-25, 25-22, 25-14, 26-24) before falling in the consolation bracket to Bellevue Christian 3-1 (22-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-20). No other details from the Knights were reported.

La Center fell 3-1 to La Salle (16-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-19. in the first round. Laynie Erickson had 23 kills and 17 digs in the match. Amanda Holm added 37 assists and nine digs and Tiffany Chandler had 12 digs and seven kills.

La Center lost to Lakeside-Nine Mile Falls in the consolation round 3-1 (25-17, 20-25, 25-14, 27-25). No details from that match were reported.
