Police seek help finding missing elderly woman

UPDATE: Darlene Seeley has returned home safely, according to the Vancouver Police Department.


The Vancouver Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating an elderly woman who went missing from her home.

Darlene F. Seeley, 80, last spoke with her son about 3 p.m. Friday, and she appeared to be having a dementia episode at the time, according to a police press release.

Seeley drives a dark grey 2002 Saturn SL2 four-door sedan, according to the press release. It said she frequents the Mill Plain Boulevard corridor from Andresen Road through Southeast 164th Avenue., has poor eye sight and diminished driving abilities at night.

She’s described as a white, 5-foot-6, 190 to 200 pounds with short red hair and hazel-colored eyes. She may have glasses with her, and she often wears a teal-colored fleece jacket.
