The Port of Vancouver is holding a public hearing on its 2019 budget during the regular Board of Commissioners meeting Nov. 27.

The meeting is open to the public. It begins at 9:30 a.m. in the port’s Commission Room at 3103 N.W. Lower River Road, Vancouver.

Port staff presented the preliminary 2019 budget to the commission during an Oct. 23 public workshop. Presented items were revenue and expense projections, departmental presentations, capital budget overview and how the newly approved Strategic Plan interfaces with next year’s budget.

The budget will be discussed at commission meetings Nov. 13 and 27. Public comments at the Nov. 27 meeting will be allowed during the public hearing, before the board takes a final vote.

The final budget document is available at www.portvanusa.com/commission/agendas-minutes prior to each commission meeting. Comments can be submitted via mail at 3103 N.W. Lower River Road, Vancouver, WA, 98660, and emailed to povcommissioners@portvanusa.com.
