River Wave Foods of Battle Ground has been named a finalist of the 2019 Good Food Awards.
Selected from a national pool of more than 2,000 entries, River Wave Foods’ My Thai Vinaigrette was honored by being selected as a top scorer for taste in the Pantry category. In addition to scoring high for exceptional taste, River Wave Foods’ My Thai Vinaigrette also met the high production and ingredient standards of the competition, says a news release issued by the company.
Presented by the Good Foods Foundation of San Francisco, the Good Food Awards were created to honor companies that not only create good-tasting food but have fair-trade practices, sustainability, low carbon footprint and local sourcing, the organization’s website says. Finalists were announced Tuesday. About 200 winners will be announced Jan. 11 in San Francisco at the San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center.
