New youth job center opens in Vancouver

Fircrest — Next, a career center for individuals 16 to 24 years old who are not in school and not working, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 11. The center will provide education, job placement and training, housing support and other services, as well as offer a space where young adults can build community and relationships with one another. Next is an initiative of Workforce Southwest Washington, and is located at Suite 130, 120 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver. More information can be found at www.nextsuccess.org.
