Barrett Business Services Inc., the Vancouver-based business management company, reported record earnings for the third quarter that ended Sept. 30.
Net income was up 29 percent to $19.1 million, or $2.50 per diluted share, compared to net income of $14.8 million, or $1.96 per diluted share, for the same quarter last year. Net revenues increased 3 percent to $247.3 million compared to $240.1 million in the third quarter last year.
For the full year 2018, the company said in a statement that it continues to expect diluted earnings per share of $4.31, compared to $3.33 earnings per diluted share last year. The company also expects billings to increase about 10 percent for the next rolling 12-month period and 8 percent for fiscal year 2018.
