Vancouver police respond to robbery outside convenience store

Vancouver police responded to a reported robbery Friday night outside the Minit Mart at 2201 Main St.

The robbery was reported at 7:58 p.m.

A customer in a vehicle said that a man took her money from her hand and then pointed a firearm at her when she tried to get it back, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

The man, who was described as Hispanic and wearing a yellow puffy jacket, was last seen driving northbound on Main Street in a white Toyota Camry, according to scanner traffic.

Police were searching for the suspect vehicle in the area.
