An armed robber held up a Chevron station on Northeast 162nd Avenue early Friday, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
Police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said officers were dispatched at 12:34 a.m. to the Chevron at 1900 N.E. 162nd Ave., after a man walked in, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.
The robber ran west from the business with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Kapp. She said officers set up a containment area around the store, and a police K-9 was brought in to track him, but a suspect was not located.
The department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating, Kapp said.
