Multnomah County deputies patrolling Columbia River recovered a body from the water on Friday morning.
The deputies responded about 9:40 a.m. to reports of a body in the waters of North Portland Harbor, near its east end, according to a Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office press release.
They found and pulled a man’s body from the river, according to the sheriff’s office.
The deceased man was not identified.
Deputies plan to turn over the body to the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office.
No other details were immediately available.
