Coleen Carey is the new senior vice president of marketing and communications at Vancouver’s PeaceHealth headquarters. She will have oversight of all internal and external communications at the Catholic nonprofit health system, including digital media, public relations, crisis and change management communications and brand marketing. Previously, she was the vice president of marketing for Eleven Software in Portland. She is also a board chair for FACT Oregon, a nonprofit that helps families with disabilities. Carey received a master’s degree from University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. PeaceHealth serves patients in Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
Stephen Burright, a Vancouver-based commercial and residential real estate broker, received a Three Years 10 Best Real Estate Agents for Client Satisfaction award, a recognition by the American Institute of Real Estate Agents. The third-party rating organization publishes an annual list of the top 10 Real Estate Agents in each state, and then those candidates must pass a selection process based on client and peer nominations, research and independent evaluation. Skamania County Prosecutor Adam Kick has been appointed to the Washington Association of County Officials board of trustees. Kick has served as the Skamania County prosecutor since 2011. WACO, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, includes elected county assessors, auditors, clerks, coroners, medical examiners, prosecuting attorneys, sheriffs, treasurers and comparable appointed officials in charter counties.
Rebecca Fry was hired on Jan. 2 as a multimedia sales executive at The Columbian. She previously was a territorial sales associate at The Oregonian.
