Clark County native Sarah Crouch finished third at the USA Track & Field 25 km Championships on Saturday at Grand Rapids, Mich.
Her time was 1 hour, 27 minutes, 3 seconds.
Aliphine Tuliamuk won the race in 1:25:34, with Emma Bates of Boise second in 1:25:55.
Crouch posted on Instagram that her time of 1:12:42 at the half-marathon mark was her second-fastest ever for that distance.
“Today was the race I’ve been waiting for, for 4 years. I’m not done. I’m not even close to done,” she posted.
Crouch has won the last three half-marathon events she has entered this year.
