Volunteer Connections provides opportunities through the Human Services Council. For information on the following and other opportunities, call 360-735-3690.

Girls Inc. seeks volunteers to facilitate after-school girls groups to help girls develop confidence and self-esteem. Training provided, and a commitment of three hours per week is expected.

Hospice Southwest Heart Connections program seeks volunteers to drive patients to appointments. Volunteers must have a working vehicle, driver’s license, car insurance and CPR certification.

Kaiser Permanente Northwest Hospice is looking for home respite volunteers to visit patients in their homes so the caregivers can take a break. Training provided, and the ability to maintain consistent schedule is essential.

The Marshall House at The Historic Trust needs volunteers with an interest in Vancouver’s history to serve as docents, guiding tours of the historic house on Officers Row.

Metropolitan Performing Arts is looking for volunteers to work with youth, 6 to 18 years old, at the Willy Wonka, Harry Potter and Show Choir camps. Help is also needed with work parties for all Metro’s shows, from building sets to hanging posters around town.

Volunteer Connections seeks substitute information-desk volunteers at the Clark County Courthouse. Training is provided.
