Origami students team up on joint project now on display

Esther Short — Holly Williams was looking for a joint project to do with students of her classes at Burnt Bridge Cellars, and decided on making a 4-by-8-foot origami installation. The project is on display in the window of the old North Bank Gallery near Kiggins Theatre. The installation was designed by local graphic design artist Amy Provost, and features more than 150 pieces of origami that students folded at Williams’ Sip ‘n’ Fold class on April 19. The piece is made up of three shapes: pinwheel, camellia and a simple bird.
