Local high-schoolers win regional robotics championship

Clark County — Students from Camas, Washougal and Hockinson won the 2018 FIRST Championship Pacific Northwest Division on April 5-7. Their team, Mean Machine, went undefeated in district competition this year. With the Pacific Northwest robotics title, the students earned a trip to the national championships in Houston, Texas. Mean Machine has been active for 11 years and has approximately 30 members from the Hockinson High School, Camas High School and Washougal High School. Their robot this season was named Atlas.
