Camas-Washougal port plans Earth Day event

WASHOUGAL — The Port of Camas-Washougal announced that its Earth Day activities will take place at the Washougal Waterfront Park and Trail from 2 to 4 p.m. April 20.

“We invite the community to join a movement that continues to inspire, challenge ideas and motivate people to action,” Port Executive Director David Ripp said in a news release.

Volunteers will meet at the picnic shelter at Washougal Waterfront Park just east of the marina and port offices located at 24 S. A St., Washougal. Trash bags, latex gloves and light refreshments will be provided for all volunteers.
