Clark County deputies are asking for help in finding a black lab puppy that was stolen during the burglary of a Vancouver home.

The burglary happened more than two weeks ago, on March 13, in the area of 164th Avenue and Northeast 28th Street, according to a Clark County Sheriff’s Office press release.

During the burglary, computers and other household items were stolen.

But the apparent focus for deputies is retrieving a black lab named Carlos. The pup was born in November, the sheriff’s office said.

Carlos is certified by the American Kennel Club, a nationwide registry of purebred dog pedigrees, and was purchased for the owner’s children.

Carlos has a consistent black coat of fur, but deputies noted he has white discoloration below and above his left eye. Anyone with information about Carlos, or the burglary of the home, is asked to contact Deputy Greg Agar at Greg.Agar@clark.wa.gov.
