Clark County — The Cascade Pacific Council of the Boy Scouts of America presented the Silver Beaver volunteerism award to four local volunteers at a ceremony Feb. 22. The Silver Beaver award is the top award a local Boy Scout council can give to a volunteer mentor, and recipients are selected by confidential nominations of adult peers. The honorees were: Patrick Bartos from the Fort Vancouver district, Delvin Bunton from the Columbia Gorge district, Elodie Caldwell from the Chinook district and Brett Rasmussen, also from Fort Vancouver.
