A Vancouver teen suspected in an armed robbery for a pair of Air Jordans in Orchards in early February appeared in Clark County Superior Court on Monday.

Jordan Joseph Colaci, 18, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of first-degree robbery in connection to his alleged role in the armed robbery.

According to court records, sheriff’s deputies were called to the 7-Eleven at 9411 N.E. 76th St. for a report of a robbery late Feb. 4.

When deputies arrived, they met with Logan Hauck, the victim, and two others who came with him to complete a planned online transaction: his girlfriend and another female friend.

Hauck told investigators he made arrangements over the photo messaging app Snapchat to buy a pair of Air Jordan shoes for $700.

He had arranged to buy the shoes from Colaci, whom Hauck knew through another friend, court records said.

Hauck and the two young women went to meet Colaci at the Lighthouse Christian Church in Orchards, near Northeast 94th Avenue and Northeast 76th Street.

There, according to court records, Hauck saw a sedan in the lot. Colaci was driving, and Hauck got in.

Colaci reportedly drove around to the back of the church and parked near a wooded side street. There, two men, both wearing ski masks, appeared at the curb.

Hauck said one of the men pulled open the car door and pointed a pistol at his head, according to court records.

The masked man demanded Hauck get out of the car and give up his wallet, which had the $700 for the sneakers, his debit card and his Kentucky ID, records show.

Hauck complied, then records state the two masked figures piled into Colaci’s car and drove away.

Hauck ran back to the church’s parking lot, to his friends, and the group went to the nearby 7-Eleven to report what happened.

Court records show investigators were unable to locate Colaci following the robbery, and a court issued a warrant for is arrest. Officers booked Colaci on Sunday, and he made his first appearance in court Monday, where his bail was set at $30,000.

Colaci’s next court date, where he may be formally charged, was set for Friday.
