Here are the nominees for The Columbian spring sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending March 17.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address, one vote per IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

JULIAN BOJORQUEZ, HERITAGE BOYS SOCCER: Bojorquez had seven goals and one assist in two wins and one tie for the Timberwolves.

KIANA COBURN, FORT VANCOUVER GIRLS GOLF: Coburn shot a 43 at The Cedars and a 39 at Fairway Village.

OLIVIA GREY, WOODLAND SOFTBALL: Grey allowed just one hit over 21 innings pitched with 49 strikeouts in three wins.

TREY KNIGHT, RIDGEFIELD BOYS TRACK AND FIELD: Knight won the shot put (62-9) and discus (176-9.5) at the Cardinal Relays in Orting.

TOMMY SNYDER, EVERGREEN BASEBALL: Snyder threw 10 shutout innings, striking out 23 in two wins for the Plainsmen.
