Letter: Vote ‘yes’ on Battle Ground bond

By Jeff Newport, Vancouver

I want to applaud letter writer Becky Winsor (“Reject Battle Ground bond,” March 12). It’s always good to ask questions when you have zero knowledge specific to a certain topic. So, let me help. The Battle Ground Public Schools bond is not about the comfort of the superintendent, principals and others. It is about the creation of a strong, safe learning environment for children and teachers. So, vote “yes” on the bond.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
