Washougal — Ten Washougal High School students in the Future Business Leaders of America club qualified for the state competition by finishing in the top six of a regional contest. The state competition will be held in Bellevue in April. A few of the Washougal students scored first-place finishes at the regional competition. Those students were Phobe Walker in electronic career portfolio, Evan Whitmeyer in cyber security and the team of Rose Elesensohn, Taylor Bollenbaugh, Rachel Lyall and Whitmeyer in parliamentary procedure. The other students to qualify for states were Jalen Watts, Adela Osorio, Conrad Jones, Ryenne Soule and Sarah Swigert.
