BRUSH PRAIRIE — Daybreak Youth Services is launching a series of free educational forums about addiction.

The first in the Conversations with the Community series is 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. March 22 at Daybreak Youth Services, 11910 N.E. 154th St. This event was originally scheduled for Feb. 21 but was postponed due to snow.

The forum, “Young People & Addiction: Separating Fact from Fiction,” will feature a presentation and panel discussion. James Jensen, Clark College instructor and addiction counselor, will give a presentation on the neurobiology of addiction. The panel will discuss associated myths and stereotypes.

Tours of Daybreak’s new Brush Prairie facility will also be available.
