Clark College named Paul Cannon its new head women’s basketball coach Friday, removing his interim tag used during the 2017-18 season.
Cannon replaces Eric Harper, who resigned after a 7-20 season in 2016-17, his only season at Clark.
Cannon served as Harper’s assistant last season, and was elevated to interim coach Sept. 28. Clark finished 1-26 this winter, led by Union High graduate Mailia Aguigui’s 15.5 points per game.
Prior to Clark, Cannon spent five years with Evergreen High School’s boys basketball program moving his way up from volunteer coach to varsity assistant.
