VANCOUVER — PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center was among 66 hospitals across the country to be recognized for “meritorious outcomes” for surgical care.
The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program recognizes hospitals for achieving outstanding quality scores related to patient outcomes, complications and infections. The program evaluated 680 U.S. and Canadian hospitals.
“We’re grateful to be recognized by the American College of Surgeons for our success in providing quality surgical care to our patients,” said Dr. Lawrence Neville, chief medical officer at PeaceHealth Southwest, in a news release. “The ACS has a sharp focus on raising the bar for surgical safety, quality and outcomes — which aligns exactly with our work at PeaceHealth Southwest.”
