Esther Short — St. Paul Lutheran Church donated a check for more than $2,400 to the Clark County Food Bank for the Million Meals Program, which was started by Family of Christ Lutheran Church.
On Jan. 8, 2012, Family of Christ Lutheran Church met its goal of providing 1 million meals for hungry neighbors.
In 2017, the group made it to 2 million meals, and is now working toward providing 3 million meals. St. Paul is a church with between 30-40 congregants.
St. Paul also houses 25 men in the winter, has a preschool/day care for 50 children and other programs for the community.
