A woman was reported shot in downtown Vancouver at about 2 a.m. Sunday, police said.

The shooting was reported near the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Street. The woman was apparently a bystander.

She was taken to a hospital for treatment of a wound that appeared to not be life-threatening. Her name was not released.

No arrests were reported, but the police do not believe there is a threat to the public, according to a news release.

The Safe Streets Task Force, which investigates street gang activity, is investigating, as are major crimes detectives.
