We are quickly approaching the end of this month. And the weather has sure been up and down lately. We have gone from hot to cool in 24 hours. Of course we also have those typical June morning clouds. I have to chuckle because some have lasted well beyond the morning hours.
The marine cloud deck was thick enough to give us some light drizzle or a shower Friday night. Officially, Vancouver only had a trace of moisture. We have had a trace of rain six days this month. We received measurable rain on five days for a total so far this month of 0.83 of an inch. That is still about three-quarters of an inch below average.
There were three 90-degree days and plenty of 60 and 70-degree days.
I know the sun worshipers feel a little left out with only three days of 90-degree heat but July is just around the corner and you know the old saying: “Summer begins on July 5th.”
Today could join the 90-degree club but the rest of the week looks nice with highs 75-80 degrees. There is a chance of a rain shower overnight into Monday.
