It’s the nurse’s office that needs a Band-Aid at Pleasant Valley Middle School after a 53-year-old driver struck and left a hole in the building Sunday.

At 3:52 p.m., a woman hit the gas instead of the brake and accelerated into the school at 14320 N.E. 50th Ave., Vancouver. She was not impaired and was not cited, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Sunday’s crash affected only the nurse’s office at the front of the building, and classes won’t be interrupted this week, according to Battle Ground Public Schools.

The last day of school is Thursday.

The cost of the damage was unclear Monday.
