No one was hurt in a crash between a police car and another vehicle at the intersection of Falk Road and state Highway 500.

The crash was reported shortly before noon on Sunday.

Vancouver police Sgt. Patrick Kennedy did not know how the crash happened, but said it was still under investigation and no citations had yet been issued.

The Vancouver Police Department car needed to be towed away, he said, while the other vehicle was driven from the scene.

Considering the crash was relatively minor, he said, it will be reviewed internally at the supervisor level.

There will be an investigation, he said, but likely not a full-on department internal affairs review.

“What happened, how can we prevent this from happening again,” he said.
