Extra Vancouver and Washougal police officers and Clark County sheriff’s deputies will be on patrol today as part of increased patrols for impaired drivers.
The extra patrols are funded through a state grant, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
The department asked people to ensure they have a safe means to get home, and that they call 911 if they spot a suspected impaired driver.
