Stewart supporters set date for fundraiser: Supporters of Republican Clark County Councilor Jeanne Stewart are invited to a general election campaign fundraiser and primary election celebration on Aug. 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at La Costa Restaurant, 4708 N.E. Thurston Way in Vancouver.
Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to RSVP by Aug. 8 to Carolyn Crain at hazel_x2@comcast.net. The Washington primary election is on Aug. 7.
