A man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl and groping a 17-year-old girl at a house party made a first appearance Friday in Clark County Superior Court.

Jesse Lee Angelo Kintz, 24, appeared on suspicion of second-degree rape, third-degree rape of a child, supplying liquor to minors and fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation stemming from the February incident.

On Feb. 25, the 15-year-old victim went to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center to report she had been raped the day before while attending a party at Kintz’s house in the 5500 block of St. Johns Road, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

She told investigators that Kintz gave her alcohol and marijuana, despite knowing her age. The girl said she became sick and passed out in Kintz’s bedroom. When she awoke, Kintz was kissing her, she said, and taking off her clothes, the affidavit states.

The girl said she tried to get away from Kintz, but he held her down and raped her, court records say.

A 17-year-old girl at the party said Kintz had grabbed her buttocks and tried to kiss her. When she said she didn’t want to do anything with him, he told her that she needed to pay him back in some way for drinking his alcohol, according to court documents.

Judge Scott Collier set Kintz’s bail at $25,000 Friday. Kintz will be arraigned Thursday.
