Fire damaged two rental trucks Friday evening at a business in Sifton, according to the Vancouver Fire Department.

The fire was reported just after 7 p.m. at the Avis and Budget car and truck rental location at 14605 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., according to dispatch records.

Fire Capt. Joe Spatz said three engines were dispatched, and firefighters arrived to find the two trucks on fire and a small grass fire nearby. He said the fires were quickly brought under control.

No injuries were reported, and the business was closed for the evening, Spatz said.

The cause of the fire was not determined, but Spatz said the Vancouver Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating.
