Prevention coalition honors Battle Ground program, executive director

Battle Ground — Rocksolid Community Teen Center and Marcy Sprecher, the center’s executive director, were recognized for their work on drug and alcohol prevention and awareness with local kids. The community prevention coalitions of Clark, Skamania and Klickitat counties were represented and honored at the annual Coalition Appreciation Picnic/Awards Ceremony. Rocksolid was honored for excellence in leadership and collaboration in providing learning opportunities and experiences for empowering youth. Sprecher was presented with a certificate for her dedication to local youth and her work with prevention programs in Battle Ground Public Schools and the Hockinson School District.
