The Vancouver Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the 50+ Travel Expo on Friday. The event begins at 1 p.m. at the Marshall Community Center at 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd., Vancouver.
Local seniors can attend the expo to learn about day trip and overnight excursion opportunities for the upcoming fall and winter.
Many of the upcoming trips are offered through the city’s 50 and Better Program. Trips cost on average between $25 and $200 per person.
A few upcoming trips include the Salem Art Fair and Festival, an Oktoberfest lunch cruise in Seattle and a hot air balloon ride over Oregon’s wine country.
