WOODLAND — Clark County Fire & Rescue and the city of Woodland invite residents to check out the city’s new fire station. They are hosting an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Fire Station 29, 250 E. Scott Ave.

The open house is free, and guests will receive a free hot dog, bag of chips and a drink.

Clark County Fire & Rescue will have a fire engine, ladder truck and water tender on display and will demonstrate their firefighting and emergency medical capabilities, including hands-only CPR.

Other agencies, including the Woodland Police Department, American Medical Response and Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency, will be on hand putting on demonstrations and informing the public on what services each agency offers. LifeFlight will make an appearance to show off its medical evacuation helicopter.
