BASIC TRAINING
Air Force Airman 1st Class James I. Hillin III, a 2017 graduate of Battle Ground High School, has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. Hillin is the son of Jimmy and Rachell Hillin of Battle Ground.
PILOT TRAINING
Air Force 2nd Lt. Joseph A. Tomassi, a 2011 graduate of Camas High School, received his Air Force pilot wings at a graduation ceremony after completing 54 weeks of Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma. He is the son of Tim Tomassi of Portland.
