Meadow Homes — Fort Vancouver High School was one of 11 schools in the Portland metro area to receive money from Northwest Honda Dealers as part of the company’s “School is Better Thanks to Your Local NW Honda Dealer” program.

Fort Vancouver and the other schools selected received $1,000 to help with programs that are lacking in funds. The money will help Fort Vancouver with its goal of graduating students who are globally aware and engaged citizens.

“Our school teachers and staff members seek to empower our students to become lifelong learners who actively and positively contribute both their local community and our world at large,” Principal Jody ViDelco said in a release. “We will use this contribution toward further resources as we reach out to even more of our students.”
