Two apartment buildings totaling 86 units could be heading to the Hudson’s Bay neighborhood, according to recent filings with the city of Vancouver.

A pre-application filed June 26 proposes a 15-unit building and a 71-unit building at 2715 E. Sixth St., near where Grand Boulevard curves down Blandford Canyon. Referred to as the “Grand Blvd Apartments,” apartments could generate 572 trips per weekday, according to the pre-application. The pre-application also suggests a 7-lot subdivision could be proposed in the future.

The apartments would be built across three lots currently owned by Old Brickyard LLC and Gravel Pit LLC, both of which list their mailing addresses as Hidden Brothers, 2610 Kauffman Ave.

Portland-based engineering firm AKS Engineering & Forestry is also attached to the project.
