Kiwanis Club holds celebration for foster kids, families

Fairway-164th Avenue — Cascade Park Kiwanis provided food for nearly 500 foster children recently as part of a twice yearly event. The club hosted the festival in cooperation with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Sciences, McDonald’s and other community partners. Sunshine Division provided special gift baskets to families who attended. The event was also open to the children’s families and volunteers from Key Clubs and Crossroads Church.
