RIDGEFIELD — The Clark County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a recruitment night Feb. 7 at the public safety complex in Ridgefield.

The sheriff’s office said in a press release that it is hiring and has immediate openings for the position of enforcement deputy sheriff.

A free informational workshop for people interested in pursuing a career with the sheriff’s office will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 505 N.W. 179th Street in Ridgefield. The complex is at the northwest corner of the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds.

Current deputies, human resources staff and the chief civil service examiner will speak during the event. They’ll focus on the application process from initial testing to the date of hire.

Recruitment questions are welcome.

“This is an opportunity to talk with us directly,” the sheriff’s office said.
