Northeast Hazel Dell — Ten Clark County veterans of the Korean War took part in a three-day trip to Washington, D.C., in October. The trip was organized by Puget Sound Honor Flight, a nonprofit organization that grants free trips to the nation’s capital for veterans so they can visit and reflect at memorials built in their honor. The local veterans who went on the trip are members of the Richard L. Quatier Chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association of Southwest Washington. The group meets at 10 a.m. on the third Wednesday of the month in the Caboose Meeting Room at the 40 et 8 Chateau, 7607 N.E. 26th Ave., Vancouver.
