Here are the nominees for The Columbian winter sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Jan. 27.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address, one vote per IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

HIKARU ABE, SKYVIEW GIRLS WRESTLING: Ranked fourth in the state, Abe captured the title at 105 pounds at the Lady Trapper Invitational.

COURTNEY CLEMMER, CAMAS GIRLS BASKETBALL: Clemmer led the Papermakers with 10 points vs. Heritage and 16 points in a league-clinching win over Union.

JOE DODD, HOCKINSON BOYS SWIMMING: Dodd posted state-qualifying times in wins in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke at the Southwest Washington Invitational.

LEXI HENDERSON, EVERGREEN GIRLS BOWLING: Henderson bowled games of 203, 251 and 221 to win the 3A district title by 83 pins.

ETHAN SMITH, UNION BOYS BASKETBALL: Smith scored 11 points vs. Skyview and hit 7 3-pointers and scored 27 points vs. Camas.
