Outdoor enthusiasts and die-hard golfers were not deterred by the winter weather Thursday as they continued to enjoy the activities they love.

Vancouver residents Elaine Saeed and Jim Mewhirter were among those playing golf in the rain on a chilly Thursday morning at Fairway Village.

Conditions are expected to remain wet and rainy through the weekend, though temperatures should rise a few degrees on Saturday.
