Girls basketball: Woodland 55, R.A. Long 33

McKenna Flanagan scored eight-straight points in the third quarter to help Woodland pull away from R.A. Long.

The Beavers held a 10-point lead in the third, but it was cut to two before Flanagan’s scoring streak helped Woodland gain a comfortable lead.

The Beavers then outscored R.A. Long by 13 points in the fourth quarter.

Flanagan finished with 16 points and six boards, Payten Foster had 15 points and Nicole Guthrie pulled down 17 rebounds for Woodland.

Eastyn Reeves led R.A. Long with 10 points.
